HockEdeals.com was started in 2001, when I discovered affiliate marketing on the internet. I then combined my hobby hockey with the shopping industry and the website was born. The site has gone through many changes over the years and I have been constantly tweaking it to add that extra value for visitors. One of the most popular parts of the site is a classifieds like section that allows buyers and sellers of hockey equipment to get in contact with each other. Sellers can post their equipment details, photo, and their contact information for buyers to contact them.

After the success of hockEdeals.com, I decided to create a larger scale shopping site that not only offers sports equipment but dips into every aspect of shopping online. The value added will be coupons, price comparison, product comparison, as well as product reviews. The website is almost complete and only needs content to be added to it.
HaulItOut.com
HaulItOut.com was a website created by me in partnership with a local U-Haul Authorized Dealership captured online traffic through a paid search campaign and allow customers to rent U-Haul trucks and trailers to and from anywhere in the United States. The website launched with a fully integrated website and back end database to collect customer information. The website was live for approximately 3 weeks when U-Haul decided to shut it down because they believed it competed with UHaul.com. Despite the short life span, the website earned hundreds of dollars in profit per day and was a great model to work off of for future projects.
